Mini backplate

This backplate was developed to be as strong & as light as possible. The friction surface is EN8 whilst the 2 piece pillars are EN24. These have been fitted to all my race engines for over 10 years without a single problem.

Weighing under a kilo they are easily the lightest all steel backplates available.

Their design means that there is little material waste during manufacture & can be cheaper.

Combined with our flywheel this is the ultimate lightweight package, ( combined flywheel/backplate weight is 3.5kg ).
